Hello Sailor are looking for a sole engineer

World cruising private 38m S/Y

Start date and location: In the next few weeks, Newport R.I

Itinerary: Finishing off the shipyard period, and then heading South to cruise Central America and Cuba, and on to the Pacific

Qualifications needed: Must have a B1/B2 visa and minimum AEC2, with any further sailing or engineering qualifications a bonus

Skills needed: Must be a very confident all-round yacht engineer, and a strong sailor

Experience needed: Minimum 3 years on S/Ys, with a sailing and/or engineering background advantageous

This private performance S/Y is looking for an experienced and confident sole engineer to join the friendly and international crew of 6. The ideal candidate will be strong sailor with excellent all-round sailing yacht engineering skills, and should be ready for an adventure, as there is an amazing itinerary coming up. This is a good opportunity for an engineer looking to build up some seatime, as the engine is >350kw.
