Bosun / Second officer with OOW, 65m+ S/Y

Hello Sailor are looking for a bosun / second officer

65m+ dual season mostly private S/Y

Start date and location: Mid June, in the Med

Itinerary: Busy dual season Med/Caribbean program with heavy owner usage and 1-2 charters per year

Qualifications needed: OOW3000. Diving qualifications such as Divemaster would be advantageous

Skills needed: Must be a very strong sailor with confidence using in-boom furling and working aloft, and great management and deck operations skills

Experience needed: Minimum 3 years yacht experience, including at least a year on 45m+ S/Ys. In boom furling experience is essential

Details:

This impressive dual season sailing yacht is looking for an experienced and dynamic bosun/second officer to join the crew of 11. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified OOW with some good large sailing yacht experience and proven longevity. This is predominantly a hands-on deck position, though the bosun will lead a watch during crossings and will manage 2 deckhands. This is an amazing opportunity for a keen bosun to join a busy program with excellent scope for learning and mentoring from the experienced officer and captains.
