Qualifications needed: Master 500

Skills needed: The captain must have excellent sailing, boat handling, crew management and accounting skills, and a trustworthy personality

Experience needed: 2-3 years as captain or chief officer of a 45m+ vessel

This impressive 50m sailing yacht is looking for an experienced captain to step onboard and run the crew of 9. This will most likely become a 10/10 rotational position once the new captain has settled in. The yacht runs a Med/Caribbean itinerary with light owner usage, so the crew benefit from an excellent work/life balance, and the captain will have the assistance of the yacht manager, a former captain who has worked with the owners for a long time. The ideal candidate will have extensive yachting experience, including captain roles and sailing yachts, and a friendly, trustworthy disposition. There is an excellent package on offer for the right person.
