First mate, 38m S/Y

Hello Sailor are looking for a first mate

Rotational 2/2, temporary for 9-12 months

Start date and location: ASAP, East Coast USA

Itinerary: Finishing off a yard period then heading down to Cuba, Central and South America

Qualifications needed: Minimum YMOS and B1/B2 visa (US passport holders not suitable due to plans to visit Cuba)

Skills needed: Must be a very strong sailor with good maintenance, crew management, watch keeping and general deck operations skills

Experience needed: Minimum 3 years on yachts, including plenty of experience on similar size S/Ys

Details:

Due to injury, this 38m S/Y is looking for an experienced first mate to replace one of their current mates on a 2/2 rotational basis. This position will last for between 9-12 months, with an exciting off the beaten track itinerary planned. This is a great opportunity to work with a lovely captain and crew on a performance S/Y with an exciting itinerary on the cards.
