Hello Sailor are looking for a first mate

39m new build performance S/Y

Start date and location: Early 2026, in Scandinavia

Itinerary: Shipyard, Med season, and then world cruising

Qualifications needed: Minimum YM Offshore, with YM Ocean or OOW preferred

Skills needed: Must be a very strong sailor with excellent organisational and management skills

Experience needed: Must have at least 3 years experience working on S/Ys. Racing experience would be beneficial, with candidates coming from a dinghy sailing background preferred

Details:

This new build performance S/Y is looking for an experienced first mate with excellent sailing skills and an upbeat, organised and dynamic personality to join the crew of 6. The mate will be onboard for the last couple of months of the build in Scandinavia, after which the yacht will head down to the Med for some cruising. There are exciting future plans for worldwide cruising and a charter program, and a good package on offer for the right person. Sporty, active candidates are preferred.
