Start date and location: November 1st 2026 (in Palma) until the end of April 2027

Itinerary: Atlantic crossings to and from the Caribbean, with a busy season in the Caribbean - a mix of charters and owner trips

Qualifications needed: AEC 1&2 minimum, YMOS advantageous

Skills needed: Must be a strong sailor and a confident yacht engineer with hydraulics, mechanical and electric yacht engineering experience

Experience needed: Minimum 2 years on S/Ys, with a sailing and/or engineering background valued

Details:

This fantastic performance sailing yacht is looking for a mate/eng to step onboard and join the crew of 5 for the Caribbean season, and the Atlantic crossings in spring and autumn. The usual captain is taking some leave, so the mate/eng is stepping up to captain for winter. There will be time to learn the systems before guests come onboard, as the permanent captain and mate/eng will be onboard for the crossing in autumn. This is an amazing opportunity to join a performance sailing yacht for a busy winter of charters and owner trips.
