Hello Sailor are looking for a chaseboat driver

13m chaseboat to a 27m S/Y

Start date and location: In the next few weeks, East Coast of the USA

Itinerary: East coast summer and Caribbean winter, then heading to the Med for summer 2027, with lots of regattas planned

Qualifications needed: Must have a B1/B2 visa or US passport/green card, and ideally the YMOS

Skills needed: The ideal candidate will have sailing skills, as well as excellent navigational, boat handling, cleaning and basic engineering abilities

Experience needed: Minimum 2 years on deck, including S/Ys and chaseboat driver roles

Details:

This 1 year old 27m S/Y, with 5 crew, is looking for an experienced and capable chaseboat driver to captain the 13m chaseboat. The ideal candidate will be a very confident powerboat captain, and have some sailing skills, as when the chaseboat isn’t needed they will assist on the main yacht. The chase boat will be a support vessel for the yacht during both cruising and racing, and the captain will have their own cabin on the chaseboat. This is an amazing opportunity to captain your own boat and be part of an exciting program.
