Hello Sailor are looking for a chef

27m sailing yacht

Open to chef/mate couples

Start date and location: In the next few weeks, East Coast USA

Itinerary: East coast summer and Caribbean winter, then heading to the Med for summer 2027, with lots of regattas planned

Qualifications needed: Must have a B1/B2 visa or US passport/green card. Any culinary and/or sailing certifications would be advantageous

Skills needed: Must be a strong sailing yacht chef with the ability to cook creative, healthy meals for guests and crew, whilst keeping the galley super clean and organised. Sailing skills would be advantageous

Experience needed: Minimum 2 years on S/Ys. A culinary background would be a bonus

Details:

This 1 year old 27m S/Y is looking for an experienced and creative chef to join the crew of 4 (5 including the chaseboat driver). The ideal candidate will be able to cook nutritious, fresh and delicious meals for guests and crew alike, whilst keeping the galley clean and organised, and will have an awareness of food wastage and budgeting. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a friendly and experienced captain, in an exciting program that will involve a lot of racing.
