30m private performance S/Y

Seasonal until April, or permanent for the right candidate

Start date and location: ASAP, in the Caribbean

Itinerary: Caribbean winter and Med summers, with a mix of owner trips and regattas. Palma based during summers.

Qualifications needed: Any sailing or culinary qualifications, such as the Ashburton Yacht Chef course, would be advantageous

Skills needed: Must be a passionate cook with the ability to produce a range of nutritious and delicious meals, and must be happy to cook underway. Sailing skills would be a huge bonus

Experience needed: Minimum 2 years on S/Ys, with a sailing and/or culinary background preferred

This fantastic performance S/Y is looking for an experienced sailing yacht chef to join the captain, mate/eng and stewardess onboard to either see out the Caribbean season, or stay on permanently. This yacht has a Med/Caribbean program with a mix of owner trips and regattas, and the owners are looking for a chef who is used to cooking on performance S/Ys and can tailor their menu to the day’s activities. Sporty, active and upbeat candidates are preferred, to fit in with the existing tight knit crew.
