Temporary to start (3 months), then permanent for the right candidate
Start date and location: ASAP, the Azores
Itinerary: Med cruising and yard period, Caribbean winter
Qualifications needed: Any sailing and/or cooking qualifications are valued
Skills needed: Service and housekeeping abilities, and basic cookery. Sailing skills would be valued but can be taught on the job if not. Not suitable for those who suffer from seasickness!
Experience needed: Minimum 2 seasons, ideally including S/Ys. Relevant land-based sailing and cooking experience would be a bonus.

This performance sailing yacht is looking for a cook/stew to join the crew of 4. There is usually a full-time chef onboard. The cook/stew will be initially covering the chef for a couple of months whilst they recover from a minor injury, and then will be a sole stew when the chef is back, covering the chef in the galley during their holidays etc as needed in the future. The owners are friendly and super keen on sailing, with the levels of cookery and service required depending on which guests are onboard. This is a great opportunity for a keen, friendly cook/stew to join a yacht with lovely owners and crew, and do a lot of miles with plenty of sailing. A good package is on offer for the right candidate, and the cook/stew has their own cabin!

Hello Sailor are looking for a deck/stew/cook to join the captain onboard this 23m private S/Y for the summer. The deck/stew/cook should be able to produce healthy, fresh, Mediterranean style meals. They should also have some sailing yacht deck experience, as they will be required to assist with sailing manoeuvres, docking and anchoring. The deck/stew/cook has their own cabin.

Itinerary: Palma based, with owners trips around the Med and the occasional regatta

Qualifications needed: Any culinary qualifications are valued. Non EU citizens must hold a seaman’s discharge book.
Skills needed: Must be able to produce varied cuisine, including Asian and Mediterranean fare. Deck and sailing skills are valued.
Experience needed: The chef should have at least 3 years yachting experience, including S/Ys. A restaurant background is a plus.

Itinerary: Palma based, mostly daysails or weekend trips. One longer trip in the South of France planned.

Skills needed: Must be a versatile all-rounder with cooking and interior skills. Sailing skills would be ideal, though the captain is willing to teach these.

This private 18m S/Y is looking for a hard working, upbeat and versatile cook/stew/deck to join the captain onboard for the summer. This would be the ideal role for a Palma based candidate looking for some flexibility, as there is the option to take most of July and August off. Although the schedule for summer is quite chilled, trips with the owners can be quite busy, so the ability to keep calm under pressure is a must. A great opportunity to be based in Palma for the summer, working with a lovely captain.
