Start date and location: February 2026, South of France

Itinerary: The Mediterranean classic yacht regatta circuit, with some day sails in between regattas

Qualifications needed: Any sailing, culinary or interior qualifications would be valued

Skills needed: Must be a confident and organised stewardess, with the ability to cook basic crew meals. Sailing skills would be advantageous, though the captain is happy to teach candidates who are new to sailing and keen to learn

Experience needed: Minimum 1-2 seasons on yachts, with a hospitality, sailing and/or cooking background valued

This beautiful and historic classic yacht is looking for a keen, committed and versatile stew/crew cook to join the team for summer 2026. This is an exciting, varied role, and for a candidate with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, this will be an incredibly fun summer. The stew/crew cook will have the support of a deck/stew between regattas, and a shoreside stew during regattas, so they will be able to concentrate on taking care of the interior and light crew cooking.

Chef, 33m performance S/Y

Hello Sailor are looking for a chef

Open to engineer/chef couples

New build private 33m high performance S/Y

Start date and location: January, South Africa

Itinerary: Regattas and owner trips in the Med/Caribbean for the first couple of years, with a worldwide itinerary on the cards for the future

Qualifications needed: Food Hygiene Level 2, with any further culinary or sailing qualifications advantageous

Skills needed: Must be a versatile and experienced yacht chef who is used to the quirks of working on a sailing yacht, such as cooking underway. Great organisational and provisioning skills are a must, as is the ability to source top quality ingredients to create light, Mediterranean style meals.

Experience needed: Minimum 3 years on yachts, with a sailing and/or culinary background a bonus. Must have proven longevity in prior roles.

Details:

This new build sailing yacht is looking for a chef to join the crew of 5, to see out the build in South Africa and then launch into the exciting program of racing and eventual world wide cruising. The chef should be upbeat, easy going and passionate about working on sailing yachts. There is a good package on offer for the right candidate, with a generous 2 months of annual leave. This is a great opportunity to join a tight knit team and contribute to an exciting new build project.
