46m world travelling private S/Y

Start date and location: 30th September, in South of France

Itinerary: Heading to the Caribbean for winter after a short yard period in Vilanova, then going on to the East Coast USA, Greenland, Iceland and Norway

Qualifications needed: Minimum AEC 1&2 and B1/B2 visa, with MEOL or Y4 beneficial

Skills needed: Must be a confident all-round yacht engineer with a communicative, social flexible personality and a flexible attitude. Sailing skills advantageous

Experience needed: Minimum 3 years on yachts, including S/Ys

Details:

This lovely private sailing yacht, with an amazing itinerary coming up, very friendly owners and an experienced, welcoming crew, is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team of 7. This is a 2/2 job share position, with the salary only paid for the months that the engineer is onboard. The engine is just under 1000kw, so this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to gain some seatime and perhaps do some courses between work stints. Upbeat, social engineers with good communication skills are preferred.
