First mate, rotational, 27m S/Y

Hello Sailor are looking for a first mate

2/2 rotation

Open to mate/stew or mate/chef couples

27m private world cruising S/Y, liveaboard owners

Start date and location: In the next few weeks (flexible), Caribbean

Itinerary: Caribbean, USA, Greenland, Newfoundland, UK, Med, and onto the Pacific and a circumnavigation

Qualifications needed: B1/B2 visa holders are preferred, and candidates should have YMOS

Skills needed: Must be a very strong sailor with excellent guest interaction, tender driving and deck maintenance/cleaning skills

Experience needed: Minimum 2 years on S/Ys, including 35m+ yachts, with a sailing background preferred

Details:

This new private sailing yacht is looking for a bubbly, hard working rotational first mate to join the crew of 4 onboard. The ideal candidate will be a very strong sailor, with high level organisational and guest interaction skills, and a real passion for working on yachts. A large yacht, and ideally charter, background is vital. This is a demanding, busy role, but there is an amazing itinerary coming up and the liveaboard owners are very friendly and passionate about their yacht.
