Mate, J-Class

Hello Sailor are looking for a first mate

Single season private J-Class

Start date and location: ASAP, in Spain

Itinerary: Based in Spain over winter, with the summer season spent cruising the Med with the owners, racing in a couple of regattas and attending the America’s Cup 2027

Qualifications needed: Minimum YM Offshore

Skills needed: Must be a very strong sailor, with excellent maintenance, crew management, racing and deck operations skills

Experience needed: Candidates from a strong sailing background, with minimum 4 years experience, including mate or bosun experience on a similar size S/Y, are preferred

This amazing newly refitted J-Class is looking for an experienced, hard working first mate to join the crew of 9 and lead the bosun and deckhand. The mate should be able to hit the ground running, with several years of existing experience as either a mate or bosun on a performance S/Y under their belt. This is an amazing opportunity for an excellent first mate to join a prestigious sailing J-Class.
