Chef, rotational, 27m S/Y

Hello Sailor are looking for a chef

2/2 rotation

Open to chef/mate or chef/stew couples

27m private world cruising S/Y, liveaboard owners

Start date and location: In the next few weeks (flexible for the right person), Caribbean

Itinerary: Caribbean, USA, Greenland, Newfoundland, UK, Med, and onto the Pacific and a circumnavigation

Qualifications needed: B1/B2 visa holders are preferred, with any culinary qualifications advantageous

Skills needed: Must be able to produce consistently high level and varied cuisine for the 4 crew and a number of guests. Remote provisioning skills are a must

Experience needed: A restaurant background is preferred, as well as minimum 2 years working on busy 35m+ yachts

Details:

This new private sailing yacht is looking for a hard working, versatile rotational chef with high level cooking and organisational skills to join the crew of 4. The ideal chef will have a restaurant background, and experience working on larger busy yachts, as well as S/Y experience. The majority of the meals will be family style, with the chance to wow guests with plated meals when the owners have friends onboard. This is a demanding, busy role, but there is an amazing itinerary coming up and the liveaboard owners are very friendly and passionate about their yacht.
