Start date and location: Mid October, in the Baltic

Itinerary: Winter in mainland Spain, Med/Baltic during summers

Qualifications needed: The mate must have minimum YMOS, with the AEC 1&2 certifications also advantageous

Skills needed: The mate should be a very strong sailor with an organised, practical personality and a good grounding in engineering. The chef/stew should be a good sailor and a versatile chef, who is also happy to run the interior.

Experience needed: The ideal couple will have experience working as a couple team, and at least 2 years yachting experience, including sailing yachts

Details:

This beautiful modern classic sailing yacht is looking for a mate/eng and chef/stew couple to join the captain onboard. After the delivery from the Baltic to the Med, the mate/eng and chef/stew will look after the yacht over winter on mainland Spain and complete the winter maintenance works, with the captain then rejoining for summer 2026. This is a great opportunity for a keen sailing couple to join a yacht with very friendly owners, an interesting itinerary and the possibility of stepping up to run the yacht in the future.
